The Parivhan Vibhag has recently initiated the online registration process for High Security Number Plate (HSRP) registration for both private and commercial vehicles in 2023. Individuals who wish to register for HSRPs are advised to carefully go through the complete notification before proceeding with the online application. High Security Registration Plate (HSRP) Department is issuing Two Wheeler, Four Wheeler and Other Vehicles High Security Registration Plate (HSRP). Short Notification for High Security Registration Plate (HSRP) is available for Indian Citizens.
Advanced security number plates, constructed from durable aluminum, are affixed to vehicles through the use of at least two specialized snap-on locks that cannot be reused. Positioned in the upper left corner of the plate, you’ll find a distinctive 20 mm X 20 mm hologram featuring the Ashoka Chakra in a striking shade of blue, created using a hot-stamping process.

Eligibility Criteria
If you have any 2 wheeler / 4 wheeler or other heavy motor vehicle, you are eligible to get a New HSRP plate issued by the Transport Department.

Method of Submission of Online Application Form
- When booking HSRP, you must have your vehicle registration number, engine number and chassis number.
- During HSRP booking, you will also have to provide some other information such as your name, address, mobile number, email id, Etc.
- After filling all this, you will get two options, one that you can go to get yourself transferred to the agency and the other for home delivery Option (this option is not available in all cities) After that you have to pay and print the receipt.
